Felipe Massa has completed a one-day test in a Formula E car with the Jaguar Racing team.
Massa was considering a move to Formula E after announcing his retirement from Formula One last year, but that was before Williams called him up and offered him another year on the F1 grid to replace Mercedes-bound Valtteri Bottas. Despite his commitment to F1 this season, Massa still took part in the Jaguar test this week and said he enjoyed the experience.
"I would like to thank Panasonic Jaguar Racing for giving me this opportunity," Massa said. "It was great to experience a Formula E car as it's something completely different to anything I've driven previously.
"The different power, brakes, tyres and downforce mean it requires quite a different driving style. I'm happy with the experience and what I have learnt. Overall, it's been a really fun day."
The Formula E series continues in Buenos Aires on February 18, while Massa will be behind the wheel of his new Williams at the first F1 test of the season at the end of the month.
