The ESL African Championship, which concluded at rAge last month, was designed to pit the best Hearthstone players and CSGO teams against each other to determine the best African talent.

It was also a platform for rising starts to come to the fore, and in the case of Hearthstone players Exia (OverGame) and Saliom, it meant signing contracts with ESL African Championship's third-place winners Limitless.gg.

In a statement by the team's manager Marko Pavuna, Limitless.gg said that it was without a question that Limitless decided to recruit the two top North African players: Exia & Saliom.

"Saliom, with a second place in ESL Africa's season 1 and recent 3rd place in the recent ESL Kwese Johannesburg finals, is a solid addition to the team," Pavuna said.

He added that Saliom's addition will strengthen the team. "He has also won the Algerian NACL and is now on a top spot to reach the international level. It's with behind this strong commitment and added firepower that Limitless is happy to be part of ESL's Kwese season 3 championship. A bigger adventure in the making," he concluded.

As for OverGame, he was the highest ranked Algerian player in ESL African Championship with 24 points, eight wins and six losses. Although he equalled in points with third, fourth and fifth placed players, he managed to have a better score difference of 33:23.

He also competed in the first series of the ESL African Championship, where he finished third with 27 points over 14 matches, and 9 wins. It was his placing of third that secured him a spot in the second series.
