JD Gaming trumped DAN Gaming in an action-packed 2-0 sweep during Week 6, Day 3 of the League of Legends Pro League in Shanghai.

DAN Gaming (4-6, 11-12 match record) had a solid start to Game 1 as its siege composition got ahead with first blood at six minutes, but JDG (3-8, 10-17 match record) was quick to respond. JDG had drafted a potent teamfighting composition with two hyper carries in mid and AD carry, but found uncommon early success with the late-game builds as a 4-for-0 went JDG's way at 13 minutes.

The later the game went, the easier it got for JDG to run through DAN, grouping up as a formidable deathball and running over DAN members that were out of position well into the mid-game. While it gave up a Baron that allowed DAN to break into its base, JDG still managed to pick up a Baron of its own a few minutes later to push right back. At this point, JDG AD carry Lee "Loken" Dong-wook's Kog'Maw started tearing through DAN, which gave JDG the window to surge into DAN's base to fully take down the Nexus at 36 minutes.

While JD Gaming had to come back from behind in Game 1, its LPL-standard draft gave it several tools to dominate early and mid-game teamfights, which it did with gusto. A five-man dive in the top lane turned into a double kill as part of first blood to go along with first tower gold on the side, putting JDG up by nearly 2,000 gold at just nine minutes.

JD snowballed its early lead and won a 4-for-2 teamfight around 17 minutes to blow the game wide open. With the gold lead increasing to 7,000 at 20 minutes, JDG was free to do as it pleased, chasing DAN around the map for an eventual 5-for-0 ace and Baron kill shortly afterward. With mid laner Kim "doinb" Tae-sang's Galio leading the way with incredible frontline play and a flawless 5/0/19 KDA (kills/deaths/assists), JDG swept through DAN with a second 5-for-0 ace and closed out the series sweep in 27 minutes.

JD Gaming will next take to the Rift at 5 a.m. ET on Aug. 4 against Newbee, while DAN Gaming take on Newbee at 5 a.m. ET on July 29.
