After after a disappointing showing at Rift Rivals, Fnatic returned on Saturday to take an easy 2-0 sweep over Team Vitality during Week 6, Day 3 of the European League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split in Berlin.

Fnatic mid laner Rasmus "Caps" Winther's Syndra dominated Game 1 and started things with first kill after a counter-gank from jungler Mads "Broxah" Brock-Pederson's Gragas. Caps did give up his team's only death, but he can be forgiven for that as the picks he found with Unleashed Power snowballed the game heavily in Fnatic's favor.

Top laner Paul "sOAZ" Boyer's Jarvan IV was also vital to his team's success. He led Fnatic in kill participation throughout the early game by racking up assists. Team Vitality (3-5, 7-11 match record) simply never got a foothold in this game, as Fnatic (7-1, 15-3) smashed its way to a 32-minute win.

Caps led the charge once again in Game 2, this time on Taliyah. He headed top lane to set up Fnatic's first kill immediately after gaining access to Weaver's Wall at level 6 and continued to dish out plenty of damage in teamfights. His triple kill in the 21st minute granted Fnatic its first Baron of the game.

Vitality didn't go down easy, though, with the double Trinity Force carries of top laner Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet on Jax and mid laner Erlend "Nukeduck" Holm on Corki putting out tons of damage, but ultimately it couldn't win a meaningful teamfight. Fnatic closed out the series after a clean 35-minute ace.

Both Fnatic and Vitality will have their work cut out for them on July 22, as Fnatic takes on Unicorns of Love at 11 a.m. ET and Vitality faces off against G2 Esports at 2 p.m. ET.
