G2 Esports took advantage of a string of miscues and odd calls from Splyce to pick up a 2-0 series win in Berlin on Week 6, Day 2 of the European League Championship Series.

Coming off a poor showing at Rift Rivals, G2's mid laner Luka "Perkz" Perkovic was undoubtedly the series MVP, leading his team with a 16/1/15 KDA. In Game 2, playing as LeBlanc, he had both his highest KDA of the game and the highest damage output -- no small feat for a burst-heavy assassin.

Looking at the broader picture, Week 6 is the first week of the LCS to feature the latest patch, and there's already been a rather significant shift in the metagame. Lee Sin, Elise, and Rek'Sai were all the rage in weeks past, but three of the match's four jungle picks were Cinderhulk-wielding tanks. Most notable was Kim "Trick" Kang-yun's Sejuani, who amassed a 3/2/21 KDA in the series. Considering the success that both Samsung, who upset SK Telecom T1 in Korea, and now G2 Esports have had with the pick, it's likely Sejuani could emerge as one of the preeminent jungle picks. This is especially so considering Zac's status as a near-permanent ban, as well as the upcoming nerfs to Gragas.
