esports

The pre-season group games for the ESL African Championship concluded two weeks ago, and the only thing left now for the four teams, are to battle it out in the semi-finals - culminating in what is sure to be an action-packed final.

The semi-final and final for the pre-season group stage games are being played this weekend, and you can catch all the action live on Twitch and Facebook.

The first match in the semi-final heat will be played on Saturday 15th July at 14:00, when Energy eSports tackles Big 5 Esports in a Best of 3.

For the second match in the semi-final competition, Damage Control and Bravado Gaming will be bumping heads at 18:00, also in a Best of 3 matchup.

The winner of each semi-final round will go on to compete in the grand final on Sunday at 18:00, while the 3rd place playoff between the semi-final loser will be played at 14:00.

While the top four battle is out for some serious cash this weekend, the bottom four teams from the pre-season group stages will now enter the relegation phase for a shot to compete in the full season's group stages.

All the semi-final and final games will be live streamed and can be viewed on the ESL Africa Facebook page and on the official ESL CS:GO Twitch website.

If you want to rewatch (or watch the matches for the first time), you can check it out here.

We have also created an ESL African Championship hub, where you can view the final standings for the pre-season, all the pre-season fixtures and the latest articles.
