Kalakoda Promotions and Kwesé Sport's Friday Fight Nights resumes this month with 'New Dawn', to take place at the Harare Show Grounds in Zimbabwe on January 26.

The main bout will see local favourite Elvis Moyo look to defend his WBF African Heavyweight Championship belt against Democratic Republic of Congo powerhouse Knife Didier.

The two fighters have met before - in ann MMA cage - and Moyo says he is looking forward to dishing out some punishment.

"These are the African Heavyweight match-ups people want to see," he says. "I had no time off over Christmas and New Year; I've been in the gym, and I guarantee victory by KO and entertainment for my home fans.

"Fighting at home is very special, so I cannot wait to just get in there and throw some leather."

The remainder of the bill features four non-title bouts with rising stars from Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The event will be broadcast live on Kwesé Sports, Soweto TV, as well as streamed on Unilad and Facebook Live.
