Championship boxing returns to the Dome Swakopmund in Namibia on December 29 with two title fights and a stacked undercard.

Salute Boxing and Kalakoda Promotions staged an event at the venue earlier this year, and now return with 'Desert Rumble', which includes arguably Namibia's most famous pugilist in Harry 'The Terminator' Simon.

"Namibia consistently produce brilliant fighters; this partnership is a game changer and will provide a new platform and new opportunities for them to excel," Kalakoda's Jeremy Bean says.

"With Kwesé Sports backing the vision and continent wide broadcast coverage, championship boxing can now be used as a strategic marketing vehicle for brand Namibia and sport tourism."

The event is topped with a vacant WBC Silver Title fight between former world champion Paulus 'The Rock' Ambunda and the tough Tanzanian Nasibu Ramadhan at Super Bantamweight.

"The Rock is ready to rumble and we are certain that on the 29th he will claim another strap to his impressive collection," Kriata Kamaya of Salute Promotions says.

The other title and co-main event sees the hot Namibian Junior Middleweight prospect of Vakufilapo 'Cowboy' Nashivela take on George Mduli from South Africa. Nashivela is a banger and has promised that the fight will end inside 10 rounds.

"This is my time, my training camp has gone well and I am ready for war. This Mduli has got problems ... Cowboy will be firing with two guns," Nashivela proclaims.

Another bout to look out for is a non-title lightweight contest between local Swakopmund favorite Albinis 'Danny Boy' Felesiano and Raston Kayira from Malawi.

The event will be broadcast live on Kwesé Free Sport and KS1 across the continent, on Soweto TV Channel 251, NBC 6, the Kwesé Sport mobile app, as well as streamed free globally on Facebook Live.
