Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has once again left out star midfielders Emmanuel Agyemang Badu and Mubarak Wakaso in his squad for two 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Congo.
Badu and Wakaso have both made fresh starts at new clubs but are still not deemed good enough for the must-win games in Kumasi and Brazaville in the first week of September.
Instead there are debut call-ups for WAFA midfielder Gideon Waja and Norway-based midfielder Edwin Gyasi.
Appiah has also rewarded Turkey based center-back Joseph Attamah for his early season consistency with Bakaksehir.
Appiah has shaken up his goalkeeping roaster with call-ups for Sochaux man Lawrence Ati and Joseph Addo of Aduana Stars
