But...you also have to beat our expert Ed Dove.

To kick off the new campaign, Dove reveals his picks for Gameweek Two.

Premier League, 19 Aug, 13:30, Swansea City vs. Manchester United

This is probably a pretty ideal time to play Swansea away, with Paul Clement still-you'd hope-putting the finishing touches to his squad, particularly up front. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Gylfi Sigurdsson departure dents team morale, and while it gives Clement money to spend, they were muted in attack in their opener.

United, with Romelu Lukaku menacing against West Ham United, and Paul Pogba leading a superb supporting cast, look deadly.

Dove's Prediction: United to win by two goals or more

Premier League, 19 Aug, 16h, Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Liverpool looked excellent going forward against Watford, but were found out (again) at the back as last season's familiar problem reared its ugly head. At least Mohamed Salah's performance against the Hornets suggests that there would be life after Philippe Coutinho.

Palace were dismal in their opener, shipping three at home against new boys Huddersfield Town. If Steve Mounie put them to the sword, imagine what Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are capable of!

Dove's Prediction: Liverpool to win by two goals or more

Premier League, 19 Aug, 16h, Leicester City vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

These two both shipped a few goals in tough opening fixtures, but it was Leicester who showed more in a fixture they were unlucky to lose against Arsenal.

Back in front of their own fans, I'm expecting them to shine against the Seagulls. Could Kelechi Iheanacho make a positive first impression in front of his new home fans?

Dove's Prediction: Leicester to win by two goals or more

Premier League, 19 Aug, 16h, Southampton vs. West Ham United

Southampton are really struggling to score at the moment, and it was worrying that they were so relatively easily contained by a Swansea side that had problems at the back of their own last term.

West Ham were rolled over by United at Old Trafford, and it's hard to know what exactly their true level is right now.

Dove's Prediction: Draw

Championship, 19 Aug, 16h, Nottingham Forest vs. Middlesbrough

I'm tipping Boro to seal promotion back to the Premier League this season, as I'm impressed with Garry Monk, some of the signings he's made, and the quality of Middlesbrough's existing squad.

That said, Forest have been impressive this term so far, even if they were found wanting at Barnsley in midweek.

Britt Assombalonga-returning to the club he left earlier this summer-netted twice against Burton Albion on Tuesday, and I'm tipping him to have a big say in how this one goes.

Dove's Prediction: Middlesbrough to win by one goal

Championship, 19 Aug, 16h, Queens Park Rangers vs. Hull City

Four points each for these two after three games, and despite loosing a load of players and hiring a manager who has no experience of English football, Hull can take encouragement from being the division's joint top scorers.

It's hard to pick a winner here, although Hull have vowed to bounce back from their midweek defeat by Wolves, while the home side may hand a first start to on-loan Brighton winger Kazenga Lua Lua.

Dove's Prediction: Draw

Premier League, 19 Aug, 18:30, Stoke City vs. Arsenal

You'd have fancied Tony Pulis's Stoke side of a few seasons ago to have snapped up all three points here, with Arsenal's soft underbelly having been exposed in their dramatic 4-3 come-from-behind triumph over Leicester last Friday.

Are Mark Hughes's team capable of the same kind of bullying? I'm not too sure of what to expect from the Potters this term, the new signings-with the exception of veteran Darren Fletcher-aren't convincing, while Saido Berahino's goal drought is already a major concern.

Dove's Prediction: Arsenal to win by one goal

Championship, 19 Aug, 18:30, Sunderland vs. Leeds United

These two fallen giants are still finding their feet under new managers, but have started the season well-each taking five points from their three opening fixtures.

While both were held in midweek, Sunderland's draw away at Sheffield Wednesday is more valuable than Leeds' frustrating goalless stalemate against Fulham.

Dove's Prediction: Sunderland to win by one goal

Premier League, 20 Aug, 17h, Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea

This one has all the potential of an early-season classic, with so many fascinating elements and subplots coming together at Wembley-Spurs' new home.

The venue is one tantalising unknown factor, while both squads are reportedly in the throes of rebellion-of varying degrees of severity.

Chelsea were dismal in their opening defeat by Burnley, but will this defeat-and the losses of Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas-prove costly, or will it imbue the reigning champions with the determination to prove a point against their London rivals?

Dove's Prediction: Tottenham to win by one goal

Premier League, 21 Aug, 21h, Manchester City vs. Everton

City took their time to get warmed up against Brighton in their opener, and it was only a combination of Kevin De Bruyne's tenacity and David Silva's quick thinking that forced the breakthrough.

They'll be tested by an Everton side who will be buoyed by the arrival of Gylfi Sigurdsson, although it remains to be seen if he will play. I love the look of that Gueye-Schneiderlin-Sigurdsson midfield.
