Chris Froome has crashed during a practice session ahead Friday's first stage of the Giro d'Italia, though he is expected to be fine for the start of the race.
The Team Sky rider suffered cuts in the crash ahead of the time trial in Jerusalem, with his right knee looking particularly grazed. Froome's shorts were also torn in the crash.
Froome was filmed limping after the crash, but he got back on his bike and rode to the Team Sky base to be assessed by team doctors.
However, Froome is fine after the crash and is expected to participate in Friday afternoon's time trial, a Team Sky representative confirmed to ESPN.

The reigning Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana champion, is under the spotlight in Jerusalem as he starts the Giro d'Italia with a UCI investigation hanging over him after a test showed excessive levels of asthma drug Salbutamol in his system at last year's Vuelta.
Froome was not the only rider to crash during the recon, Ben King, who is competing for Team Dimension Data said on Twitter that three riders, including Froome, had crashed on the course, ending his tweet with 'ghost holes' to express his concern with the course.
The crash comes after director of the Giro Mauro Vegni accused Team Sky of misleading his over Froome's adverse test.
Team Sky will be paid a reported £1.2m as their appearance fee for the race, which was negotiated after Froome's test but before it came to light, and Vegni said that he had "definitely" been deceived by Team Sky's failure to disclose it to him.
"The negotiations with Team Sky took place before the Giro presentation so, within a correct relationship, I would have expected to be informed - so I really didn't like this," said Vengi.
