In a week dominated by the football World Cup and Wimbledon, was anyone talking about cricket? Roger Federer and Sachin Tendulkar certainly were. And now that the sporting world's two biggest tournaments have wound down, the focus is back to our great game - and there's plenty to catch up on.

England level the ODI series
After their counterparts' disappointment in the football World Cup, the England cricket team brought their fans some cheer by winning the second ODI, at Lord's. The Indian fans, in turn, let out a few boos for MS Dhoni, who went past the 10,000 ODI runs milestone but could not win them the match.

South Africa routed for lowest Test score since readmission
