70 Runs scored by Pant off Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan, off only 24 balls. No one has hit them for more in an IPL game. He hit Bhuvneshwar for 43 off just 11 balls - the most by any batsman against Bhuvneshwar in a T20 game, and the highest by a batsman off a bowler in a match this season. He carted Rashid for 27 runs off 13 balls. Sandeep Sharma was the only bowler against whom Pant's strike-rate was under 140.

67 Pant's runs off 23 balls in the death overs - the second highest by any batsman in an IPL innings. Andre Russell had hit 68 runs off just 20 balls - the highest by a batsman at the death in an IPL innings - against Chennai Super Kings earlier this season.

Wriddhiman Saha had hit 115 against Kolkata Knight Riders after coming in to bat in the 5th over, like Pant did in this match. David Miller's 101 in 2013 and Yusuf Pathan's 100 in 2010 are the only other centuries in the IPL when batsman has come in to bat in the 5th over or later.

98.24 The strike rate of Daredevils' batsmen excluding Pant in this match. They could score only 56 runs off 57 balls. Pant scored his runs at 203.17. While Pant hit 22 boundaries - the joint fourth highest by a batsman in an IPL innings - the other Daredevils batsmen could manage only six boundaries.

3 Number of higher scores than Pant's 128* that have come in a losing cause in T20s. Chris Gayle's unbeaten 151 for Somerset against Kent in 2015 is the highest such score. It is followed by Cameron White's 141 not out, also for Somerset, against Worcestershire back in 2006 and Christian's 129 for Middlesex against Kent in 2014. The previous individual score to come in a losing cause in the IPL was Symonds' 117 not out for Deccan Chargers against Rajasthan Royals in 2008.
