Reactions to Rishabh Pant's blistering hundred - 'A message to India's selectors'

Rishabh Pant's 128 off 63 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad was the highest score by an Indian batsman in the IPL, going past M Vijay's 127 for Chennai Super Kings in 2010. Considering Pant ravaged the season's best bowling attack, and on a pitch on which other batsmen struggled, many considered it to be the best knock of this season.

On Tuesday, Pant had been excluded from India's limited-overs squads for their tour to England later this year, and some pointed out that his innings may have been a reminder to India's selectors.

What was remarkable about Pant's innings is that he took on Sunrisers' best bowlers, Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and improvised to get boundaries and sixes off them.
