4.3 run-out appeal and Nizakat doesn't look confident here. At the striker's end. It was his call. And he's out! He's looking to avoid the throw in case it misses the stumps, and as a result, he has neither grounded the bat nor put in a dive. Evasive action, bat hanging in the air, so are his feet. Point's throw knocks the stumps down and after a good start, Nizakat has found a way to go. The run was on, and he really should have made it. Rath had dropped a length ball into the off side with soft hands. The calling was good too. Poor from Nizakat. 17/1
8.5 got him! Rath's early penchant for hanging the bat inside the line has returned and cost him his wicket. Slightly short of a length from Faheem, pushed across the corridor. Rath has barely moved across from his leg stump guard as he looks to run this down to third man. A thin edge, carries nicely to the keeper 32/2
16.1 stumped by a mile. The perfect introduction for Shadab Khan in this Asia Cup. Dribbles out his googly. The batsman doesn't pick it. He's charging out of his crease to hammer the ball over the top. But when it spins in, he's desperately out of place. Goes through with his shot, gets beaten on the inside edge and Sarfraz does the rest. Simple. Too simple. 44/4
13.2 chips it to extra cover. Walks down the pitch at a short of a length ball, looks to power it through the off side. It's feeble and it's straight to the fielder. The slide continues. The runs aren't coming. A desperate shot from Carter. 39/3
33.1 finds backward point and that is the last specialist batsman gone. Kinchit's vigil ends tamely. It's a length ball utside off, he looks to slice it on the rise but it ends up stopping on him and he can only lob it for Shadab. A good knock that less than three overs ago seemed to have rescued his team. But the slide seems unstoppable now 99/9
16.3 traps him lbw! And it's the googly again. He's ridiculously accurate with that ball, pitching it on a length just outside off. Ehsan thinks it's a legbreak again and goes back to deal with it, but when it breaks in, he's panicking. He ends up flicking across the line, deep in his crease, and is struck in line with middle stump 44/5
30.2 bowled im! A cracker of a ball too. Quick. Pitched-up. And almost insanely - it darts in off the pitch. There is sideways movement in the UAE! Usman puts everything he has into this, a bolt upright seam helping it to change direction after kissing the surface. Aizaz is slow to come forward. He leaves a big gap as he tries to defend and the ball hurtles through it. Exceptional bowling 97/6
30.5 plumb in front as Usman goes for the yorker. McKechnie shuffles all the way across his stumps and falls over while playing the flick. He misses. The ball thuds into his pads, perfectly in line with middle. Umpire Shah raises the finger but the two Hong Kong batsmen come up to discuss taking a review, but they take way too long to make the sign 97/7
30.6 off stump takes a beating. It's too quick. It's perfectly on target. And what can a tail-ender do against something so menacing. Afzal barely presents a shot to it, stuck in the crease, poking his bat out almost in apology. Another sensational indipper from round the wicket 97/8
37.1 there's a good chance Pakistan might have missed two run-out opportunities off the same ball...nope, they've got the wicket. A length ball on leg stump, tapped to mid-on. Both batsmen down the pitch, not sure which one said no, but they were both running back. Mid-on missed the chance at the non-striker's end, but the bowler, who was backing up, gathered the ball and chucked it gently towards' Sarfraz who had plenty of time by the end of this strange sequence 116/10
