10.10 pm Alex Carey's 56-ball hundred set the tone for the Strikers at home today, after which a tight bowling effort, despite Doolan's 73, means that the team from Adelaide just back to first on the points table. A terrific match between two top-half teams. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage of this cracker. It's Sreshth, signing off for now.

Weatherald: "We're bowling so well at the moment. Today we batted well too, so hopefully we can go to the finals and win the whole thing. Today was just about staying calm in the second innings, we dropped a few catches, but we remained calm. The partnership with Carey was great. He took the pressure off me."

Jay: "Carey 100 runs (56 balls) / Doolan 73 runs (55 balls) sums up the game!!"

Neser to Archer, no run, good length wide outside off, Archer's premeditated paddle does not pay off. Misses that shot, and the ball goes through to the keeper. Adelaide Strikers win by 11 runs. They move to first on the points table as well.

Neser to Doolan, 3 leg byes, full on leg stump, tries to whip off his pads, but takes his boot on the way down the leg side, effort for Stanlake, who does well to pull this ball back

Neser to Doolan, (no ball) 1 run, waist-high full toss on middle stump, swivels and pulls but not off the middle of the bat. Falls between short fine leg and deep backward square. Free hit, but he could've really punished this loose ball.

Neser to Archer, 1 run, yorker on off stump, tries to whip this towards the leg side, but can't get under it. Pace taken off the ball as well
