Right, that brings us to the end of our coverage. Hope you enjoyed it, look forward to your company for the final T20 on Thursday. Until then, it's goodbye from all of us here. Best wishes, everyone.

Rashid Khan is the Player of the Match for his four-for. He's making it a habit. "This is what the team expects, I try to do my best in all departments. I used to bowl after 11 overs earlier, this is the plan given to me, to bowl in the middle and end overs. Was mentally ready, wanted to bowl in the good length areas. It was crucial, wickets of Shakib, Tamim, Mosaddek and Soumya. They are key players, we know how good they are, so we wanted to keep things simple and focus on the basics. Thanks to the crowd for the great support, we expect them to turn up for the third game as well."

Asghar Stanikzai, the winning captain: We knew out strengths, that's why I was confident at the toss. Mujeeb, Nabi and Rashid showed what they are capable of. On this surface where there was tun, they did very well. Thanks to everyone who supported us, it felt like we were playing in Kabul.

Shakib Al Hasan: We bowled and fielded well, but were 15-20 short. Kept losing wickets after a good start. They kept up the pressure in the middle overs and we kept on losing wickets. That's where we lost. Rashid bowled really well, they have some world class spinners who are doing their job. We have to come up with better plans to handle them and put up better totals with the bat. I thought our seamers executed well, in this sort of wicket, it's hard to defend 135 but credit to the way we fought out.

Srinath Sripath: "Afghanistan have blown Bangladesh away with a game to spare, championed by Rashid, Nabi and Shinwari. It's what consistent exposure to top-level cricket can do. They've played like favourites, the higher-ranked side they are."

Priyankar Ray C: "How about Shehzad showing Mushfiqur his version of the Nagin dance." -- Nah, let's not get there.

Khan Ali: "Shashank, here in Kabul, it's festival time because of ramadan, but boy, these people have given us so much joy. Thank you, Blue Tigers."

11.10pm That, ladies and gentlemen, is Afghanistan's first bilateral T20I series win over a side other than Zimbabwe, and don't they deserve it? Bangladesh ended up with at least 20 short, but did well to restrict run-flow and mount pressure going into the last six overs, but the experience of Mohammad Nabi has helped Afghanistan prevail. They take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Can't imagine what the scenes would be like in Kabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar and elsewhere.

Maria: "Phenomenol knock by Nabi. Who would've thought they'd do it with seven balls to spare! Great cricket from Afghanistan."

Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman combined to take 6-46 from their 12 overs, but Rashid was clearly the star of the show. He took 4-12 including the vital wickets of Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal and Mosaddek Hossain in one over, to break the back of Bangladesh's innings.

Harsha : "Good to see some mature celebrations from Afghans"

Rubel Hossain to Mohammad Nabi, SIX, finishes this off in style. Finishes this MS Dhoni style. Got more height than distance I thought, but it sails over the ropes, near the sightscreen. Afghanistan clinch the series . Went length, Nabi just cleared his front leg and walloped that away.

Rubel Hossain to Mohammad Nabi, FOUR, thick edge but this is up and over the infield, clears short third man. Got inside the line, but wanted to go over point. Just cramped for room a touch but it didn't matter. Super expensive over

Rubel Hossain to Mohammad Nabi, no run, banged in short, Nabi walked across to pull but withdrew from the pull at the last moment. Not a bad decision under the circumstances

Rubel Hossain to Mohammad Nabi, SIX, right in the slot, this has been thumped over long-on. This sure tilts the scales firmly Afghanistan's way. They must be dancing in Kabul already! What a hit

Rubel Hossain to Mohammad Nabi, FOUR, full, straight and hit back up and over! Backed away, got underneath the length as it tailed in, gave it his all. Safest part of the ground. Long-on and long-off had no chance

Mosaddek Hossain to Samiullah Shinwari, OUT, that's the end of that. Went for another big swing, head in no position, looking away as the ball drifted in to beat his swing and graze the off stump. Breathes more excitement into the game.
