10.40pm That's all from us tonight. Who will meet India in the final of the Nidahas Trophy? We'll find out in a few days. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage of the 5th match from the tri-series tournament. This is Sreshth, and on behalf of Nikhil and Ranjith, signing off. Bye bye!

10.30pm Football fans can head here to watch Bayern Munich in the Champions League, which kicks off at 10:30 PM IST. Juventus are in action in Serie A at the same time.

Meanwhile, here's the presentation. Rohit Sharma is the Man of the Match.

Winning captain, Rohit Sharma: "as I said at the toss, it was important for me to return to form. Although, I felt we were 10-15 short, but they bowled well at the death. Anyway, Washington's spell up front was magical. It's not easy for a spinner to bowl with the new ball, so hats off to him. The rest of the bowlers executed their plans perfectly too at the back end. The pitch wasn't the usual wicket, and the ball was gripping. It wasn't easy to hit on the up as well, so I decided to take some time getting set. I knew the new batsmen would find it tough. Raina's been in terrific form too, so hope he does well in the final too. Washington has been courageous to take the ball from me, not afraid to flight the ball, and he's very clear on what he wants to execute. That allows me to breathe easy. When a bowler knows what field to set, that talks a lot about that individual. He bowled well in SL as well. Before Siraj's final over, all I told him was to keep it simple. I just wanted him to continue bowling the back-of-the-length ball because we found that tough to hit as well. Whatever I've seen of him, he can execute those plans. I can understand nerves, but he's a great talent. He will go strength to strength. Wasn't a great game for him, but he's a great talent."

Losing captain, Mahmudullah: "our effort was there, but we needed someone else to contribute with the bat. We wanted a flying start, but the early wickets made us lose momentum. Also, if we would've conceded ten less runs then we could've won. While bowling, our plan was to bowl the yorker but we didn't execute them properly. Looking forward to the SL game, we will try to come hard at them."

Sai Anoop: "The contribution of Vijay Shankar shouldn't go unnoticed because Bangladesh could have attacked him, but he kept things simple and went at only 7 an over which deserves some appreciation."

10.20pm With that win, India are through to the final of the Nidahas Trophy. Mushfiqur Rahim's lone fight just wasn't good enough tonight as the rest of his team-mates crumbled to spin. First, it was Washington Sundar's three wickets inside the Powerplay that made things difficult for Bangladesh. After that, Shardul Thakur returned well in his second spell to keep things quiet. The game, however, was set up by India's top three. Rohit hit 89, Dhawan made 35 and Raina crunched 47 to take them past 170. That score, on this surface, was just too much. All of this means the next match, between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, is a virtual semi-final. The presentation starts in a few minutes.

Shovan: "Siraj is a very good prospect, only this is he didn't get consistent run in the team. He is reminding me of Umesh Yadav in early days. 1 or 2 good ballin the over along with 2 definite boundary ball. But I believe, certainly he will make progress in future."

Hippu: "Thakur just showed how most matches are won or lost in the penultimate over. Last overs remain as mere formalities. "

Kshitij: "And that's another 50 for Siraj. More consistent than Kohli! "

Karthik: "In spite of standout innings from Mushi, his strike rate is below 8rpo, which is well below rrr."

Mohammed Siraj to Mushfiqur Rahim, no run, good length wide outside off again. Tries to cut but Mushfiqur can't connect. Through to the keeper on the bounce and India win by 17 runs!

KG: "If Indian National Team cricketers got a Rupee along with each advice they get, they may not need to play IPL

Mohammed Siraj to Mushfiqur Rahim, no run, slower ball wide outside off, but well inside the tramlines. Mushfiqur thought it was wide, so let it go. Poor judgment on his behalf

Mohammed Siraj to Mushfiqur Rahim, FOUR, full on middle stump, backs away and crunches this drive past cover. No chance for Manish Pandey in the deep! What a terrific shot from the Bangladesh keeper

Mohammed Siraj to Mushfiqur Rahim, 1 wide, short outside off, but way too short. Loops over Mushfiqur's head and he'll have to bowl that one again. Rohit isn't quite pleased

Mohammed Siraj to Mushfiqur Rahim, FOUR, good length on middle stump, angling into Mushi but he glances this over short third man! Well improvised by backing away to the leg side

Saudev Singh: "In the words of Troy Deeney, does Siraj and Pant have the Cojones to play International cricket." -- definitely till 2019, I think.

Mohammed Siraj to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, OUT, good length outside off, flat-batted over the bowler's head, but Raina's safe as a church at long off. Comfortable catch well inside the ropes
