We have a pitch invasion from the delighted hope supporters. After an incredible day Scotland have won by six runs to beat England for the first time. One of the great days in Scotland's sporting history. A now a rendition of Flower of Scotland starts. Hugs all round in the Scotland camp. A thrilling match played on a superb batting pitch, but it was Scotland's nerve and guts with the ball - and in the field - which ultimately won them the game after Calum MacLeod's magnificent century earlier in the day. After Jonny Bairstow's barnstorming century, England will feel they should have chased those down but they played a full ill-judged shots at times - and there was some poor running as well. That, though, can all wait. This is Scotland's day

AM Ghouri: "what a last 10 or 12 hours for cricket. bangla women won the asia cup, WI won the test match and now Scotland wins against England. so happy"
Safyaan Sharif "Incredible effort from the lads, they've just proven once again that they are capable of playing at this standard, and they did really well throughout the innings. Up top, it was tough in the second half but we manged to pull things back and did the job so really... I'm lost for words, I don't know what to say.
"I just knew if I bowl the right line and hit my yorker, it's going to tail, and luckily once again I managed to hit that yorker and got that wicket which was an absolutely great feeling to get over the line."
Kyle Coetzer "A hugely special day for us, our coach said we should make history and we've done that. Credit to Calum, that outstanding knock, and what an occasion it was. In the first Powerplay, wherever we moved the field [Bairstow] hit it somewhere else and I was basically hoping he would mishit one. I'm extremely proud, but it is a trait we are getting very good. The last couple of years we have been very good with the ball. 371 plays 365 is an outstanding. The bowlers found it hard, but great to be on this side of the fence."
Scotland's players doing a lap of honour and signing autographs. Wonderful scenes on a sunny evening in Edinburgh.
Eoin Morgan "I thought they played close to their best cricket and we didn't. Full credit to Scotland, bringing your best game for a one-off game is hard to do. Don't think it's the worst thing for us...a couple of mistakes. We got rewards for our shots which brought us close, but not close enough. I think we were a little bit rusty, missed our lines a bit, we only got together yesterday. I think we'll be better for the run out. The level of expectation around the team has been quite high for a while, so we've managed to deal with that pretty well. If it is a problem it's something we'll have to address but don't think it is. It's a difficult summer ahead for us, but it was a good run out. I don't think we are far away, against a strong Australia they'll be extremely difficult to beat."
We'll leave the immediate post-match reaction there. But we'll have plenty more on the site over the next few hours and tomorrow. What a day for Scotland. They'll enjoy tonight! From Gnasher and Alan it's goodbye and we'll see you for the first match against Australia on Wednesday.
