Mithali Raj showed the importance of staying at the wicket. She managed to adjust herself to the pace of the pitch and attacked thereafter. She was aided ably by Jemima Rodrigues. Harmanpreet Kaur rubbed it in for South Africa by her batting. While it may not show, the biggest difference between the teams was the ground fielding. While the South Africans let a few runs through, Indians din't. And the catch by Jemima Rodrigues, what can be said about it ? She is all of 17 and the judgement, fielding as well as batting, shown by her belies her age. India seem to have found a player for future.
