A good length delivery on middle, it comes back like a ripping legcutter and hits Khawaja in front of middle. Three reds on HawkEye. Nothing Khawaja could do about that, like Bavuma's first ball to him in Perth. End of a sublime innings from Khawaja, a knock that has put Australia in the ascendancy for the first time this series. It goes in cleanly, but bobbles out. Is the left hand underneath the ball as it comes out? Remember, there has to be conclusive evidence that the ball has hit the turf. A raucous Adelaide crowd doesn't count. Given. Superb catch. Full on off, the ball moves away just enough to kiss the outside edge. The ball is going straight to second slip, but it won't carry to Faf so Elgar dives to his right from third slip. The ball hits the right hand and looks like it is going straight to the turf off the palm but he brings out the left hand to get underneath. 19/1

That is a sensational ball. These aren't conditions you want to be making your debut in. Unfortunate for Maddinson. 277/5

Just a faint heartbeat-type spike. Well bowled though from Bird. Bowled it full and straight, got it to seam back in just a touch but was aided by de Kock's bat face which closed on the ball way too early. Ended up playing around the front pad 201/7
