Davenport's technique is still raw on film, but he has natural strength at the point of attack and he comes off the ball with speed.

Show-cause order upheld for ex-Tide assistant

Sturm tops Saturday's QBR performers

Houston and the University of Texas at San Antonio will look to reschedule their canceled season opener to another year.

Houston's canceled game against UTSA in Week 1 because of Hurricane Harvey will not be made up, the Cougars announced.

The University of Houston just announced its season opening football game vs. UTSA is canceled as a result of the continuing impact of Hurricane Harvey. Houston's volleyball, soccer and cross country events have also been canceled. A later date for the football game will be explored.
