A lot left to be settled, but a top-15 opponent in the Big Ten title game could be the boost that whoever emerges from the East Division needs to launch itself into a top-four spot in December.

Iowa defensive backs Matt Hankins and Trey Creamer have been suspended this week against Purdue for a violation of team-conduct rules. Both second-year players were charged Saturday night with disorderly conduct at a house party in Iowa City. Neither player traveled with the Hawkeyes to Penn State over the weekend. Hankins started Iowa's first four games at cornerback.

Iowa suspends DBs Creamer, Hankins vs. Purdue

Iowa reserve defensive backs Trey Creamer and Matt Hankins, who didn't travel with the Hawkeyes for Saturday's loss at Penn State, have been suspended for a week after being cited for disorderly conduct.
