One of the most obvious advantages UCF has in its game over Cincinnati is its team speed. Need proof? Turn on Adrian Killins Jr.'s 42-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Killins, known for his top-level speed, easily raced past everyone on the Cincinnati defense for the score. It's the type of play that has come to symbolize the "fast" in the team's UCFast motto.

UCF defensive tackle Joey Connors is having a career day, with a sack, fumble recovery and field goal block, leading an inspired performance among the defensive line. Titus Davis has two sacks and three tackles for loss, and Randy Charlton just made a huge fourth-down stop.

The UCF defense has taken its share of criticism this season. But in the first half against Cincinnati, the Knights clearly came out with something to prove. They were aggressive, and dominant up front, with three sacks, five tackles for loss and a strip-sack fumble to end the first half.
