Breneman with 4 TDs as Colgate rolls past Bucknell 40-3

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Grant Breneman threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Colgate rolled past Bucknell 40-3 on Saturday.

Breneman had 177 yards passing for the Raiders (5-4, 3-1 Patriot League). He also ran for 76 yards on 17 carries. James Holland rushed for 104 yards and a score and Thomas Ives caught a pair of touchdown passes and had 82 yards receiving.

Holland ran for a 13-yard score to cap the first drive of the game and the point after was blocked. Colgate scored four unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter, starting with a 12-yard TD throw from Breneman to Ives to give the Raiders a 13-3 lead. Nick Ioanilli intercepted Bucknell's John Chiarolanzio on the first play of the next exchange and Breneman and Ives made good on it three plays later with a 20-yard score to make it 20-3 with 12:21 left in the half.

Matt Muh -- who replaced starter Chiarolanzio in the second half -- finished with 133 passing yards for the Bison (4-4, 1-2).
