Christion helps South Dakota State beat Missouri St 62-30

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Taryn Christion went 14 of 19 for 323 yards with two touchdowns and South Dakota State ran away from Missouri State 62-30 on Saturday.

The Jackrabbits (5-2, 2-2 Missouri Valley Conference) outscored the Bears (1-6, 0-4) 28-3 in the second half.

SDSU's Brady Mengarelli rushed 11 times for 115 yards with two touchdowns -- including a 57-yard rush, and Christion added 59 yards with a TD on eight carries. Dallas Goedert grabbed eight passes for 170 yards with a touchdown, and Cade Johnson hauled in a 7-yard TD reception.

Peyton Hulsig led Missouri State with 123 yards rushing on 16 carries and went 17 of 24 for 189 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception. Deion Holliman returned a punt 63 yards for a first-quarter touchdown and Jason Randall busted a 68-yard touchdown run.
