Xavier Goodall leads Richmond over Williams & Mary 27-20

RICHMOND, Va. -- Xavier Goodall ran for two touchdowns and a career-high 180 yards, and Kyle Lauletta ran into the end zone from a yard out with four minutes left to give Richmond a 27-20 victory over William & Mary on Saturday.

Lauletta was 13 of 19 for 221 yards passing, and threw a 74-yard touchdown to Cortrelle Simpson. Simpson made three catches for 121 yards.

Goodall ran for an 18-yard score, and his 5-yard run gave Richmond (6-5, 4-4 Colonial Athletic Association) a 20-10 lead. The Tribe's Tommy McKee ran for a 6-yard score and Kris Hooper kicked a 31-yard field goal to tie it 20-20 with 11 minutes left.

Lauletta's scoring run capped a 75-yard drive. William & Mary (2-9, 0-8) drove to the Richmond 44 on the ensuing series, but Andrew Clyde sacked McKee on fourth-and-10. Goodall then had a 28-yard run to help the Spiders run out the clock.
