Black throws 3 TDs, The Citadel whips Presbyterian 48-7

CLINTON, S.C. -- Jordan Black completed all three of his passes for touchdowns and ran for 103 yards to lead The Citadel to a 48-7 win over Presbyterian on Saturday.

The game was moved from The Citadel campus in Charleston to Clinton, where Presbyterian is located, because of Hurricane Irma. Last year the Bulldogs also had a home game moved due to Hurricane Matthew

Black connected with Raleigh Webb for 57 yards, Rod Johnson 18 and Brandon Rainey for 14. Starting quarterback Dominique Allen ran for 57 yards and a career-high three touchdowns and completed his only pass for 15 yards.

The Bulldogs (2-0) piled up 539 yards, 435 on the ground, helping the Bulldogs control the ball for 40 minutes.

After punting on its first possession, The Citadel scored on seven possessions and ran out the clock on its final possession.

Allen opened the scoring with a 1-yard plunge but on the next snap Torrance Marable went 76 yards for the Blue Hose (0-2), who have lost 13-straight to The Citadel. Other than that score, Presbyterian had 153 yards of total offense and two turnovers.
