CONWAY, S.C. -- Kilton Anderson threw for two touchdowns to Malcolm Williams, Osharmar Abercrombie ran for two touchdowns and Coastal Carolina defeated Georgia Southern 28-17 on Saturday in the season finale for both teams.

Abercrombie had 133 yards on 19 carries, scoring on a pair of 1-yard runs. Williams had four receptions for 120 yards with touchdowns covering 67 yards on the second snap of the game and 37 yards in the third quarter to put the Chanticleers (3-9, 2-6 Sun Belt Conference) back on top 21-17.

Shai Werts threw for one touchdown and ran for 108 yards for the Eagles (2-10, 2-6). L.A. Ramsby had a 1-yard touchdown run late in the first half and Ellis Richardson caught a 9-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter that put Georgia Southern on top 17-14.

Coastal Carolina answered with a 9-play, 75-yard drive to retake the lead on Williams' second score. After a punt, The Chanticleers went 68 yards in four plays, all runs by Abercrombie, including a 41-yarder to set up the final score.

Shane Johnson had 13 tackles for Coastal Carolina, giving him 101 on the season, the 11th player in school history to reach 100.
