Hines scores twice to help Duquesne beat Dayton 34-20

PITTSBURGH -- A.J. Hines ran for 189 yards with two touchdowns and Duquesne came from behind to beat Dayton 34-20 on Saturday in a game that featured two teams from last year's FCS playoffs.

Dayton (2-1) led 20-9 with 1:08 left in the first half, but the Dukes (2-1) went 65 yards on four plays in 31 seconds, culminating with Hines' 10-yard touchdown run.

In the third, Duquesne's Carter Henderson returned an interception 23 yards for a score, and then Dayton's Cameron Stubbs fumbled the ensuing kickoff. Dillon Buechel found Wayne Capers Jr. on the next play from 20 yards out to make it 27-20.

Hines' 37-yard touchdown run in the fourth capped the scoring.

Beuchel finished 18 of 39 for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Duquesne outgained the Flyers 478 to 201 and limited Dayton to nine first downs.
