90-yard play sparks Campbell over Morehead State 27-21

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Anthony Robbins connected with Aaron Blockmon on a school-record 90-yard touchdown which provided the cushion Campbell needed to defeat Morehead State 27-21 on Saturday.

Blockman, racing down the right side, caught the ball at the Campbell 40 as the defender fell and streaked to the end zone for a 27-14 lead with 10 minutes left to play. The play from scrimmage broke Campbell's previous record of 85 yards.

Lawson Page ran 2 yards for a score with 6:18 left to get the Eagles (3-7, 2-5 Pioneer) within 27-21 and they took the ball over on downs at their 28 with 2:40 remaining. However, Austin Gahafer, scrambling to the left, was hit as he threw a pass and it was intercepted by Greg Cunningham.

Robbins threw for 215 yards and two scores, Blockmon finished with 131 yards on five catches and Jared Joyner had 127 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Camels (5-4, 3-3).

Gahafer threw for 364 yards and a touchdown.
