SE Louisiana cruises to 30-10 win over Incarnate Word

SAN ANTONIO -- Julius Maracalin had a career-high 191 yards rushing with a score, Juwan Dickey had 121 yards receiving with two touchdowns and Southeastern Louisiana beat Incarnate Word 30-10 on Saturday.

D'Shaie Landor completed 14 of 16 passes for 153 yards and career-best three TDs for Southeastern Louisiana (5-4, 5-2 Southland Conference). Maracalin had 34 carries and Dickey had nine receptions -- both career highs.

After a punt by Incarnate Word (1-8, 1-6), Maracalin had runs of 56, 2 and 10 yards on a three-play, 68-yard drive that gave the Lions a 7-3 lead and started a string of 23-consecutive points by Southeastern Louisiana. A 50-yard run by Maracalin late in the third quarter made it first-and-10 at the 20 and, three plays later, Landor hit Dickey for a 16-yard touchdown that made it 23-3 with 14:19 to play.

On Incarnate Word's next possession, Trent Brittain's 10-yard TD pass to Kody Edwards capped a nine-play, 90-yard drive. But a sack of Brittain and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty stalled the Cardinals' following series and Landor hit Juwaan Rogers for an 8-yard touchdown with 4:25 left to seal it.
