Houston Baptist tops Abilene Christian in 27-24 OT win

HOUSTON -- Tony Dawson's lone touchdown pass of the night -- 25 yards to Wesley Lewis in overtime -- lifted Houston Baptist to a 27-24 overtime win against Abilene Christian on Saturday night.

Dawson finished 13 for 25 with 239 yards and had 12 carries for 70 yards and a score for Houston Baptist (2-1, 1-1 Southland). Lewis had two receptions for 94 yards.

Nik Grau put the Wildcats on top 24-21 with a 38-yard field goal to start the extra session. Just minutes before, his 37-yard field goal attempt was blocked with 58 seconds remaining in regulation.

Dallas Sealey knotted the game at 21 with a 12-yard run with 7:08 left to play.

Sealey was 32 for 45 for 345 yards passing with a touchdown and had 14 carries for 72 yards and a score for Abilene Christian (0-3, 0-1).
