Wells, Adjamah score 2 TDs apiece; Jacksonville beats Valpo

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Rylan Wells passed for two touchdowns, Jamal Adjamah ran for two scores and Jacksonville beat Valparaiso 58-13 on Saturday.

Jacksonville had 296 yards rushing with four scores.

Orlando Thomas had six carries for 116 yards and a 30-yard score for Jacksonville (9-2, 6-2 Pioneer) and Ulysses Bryant had a 27-yard TD.

Wells opened the scoring with a 42-yard touchdown pass to Austin Leach and added a 32-yard TD pass to Andy Jones for a 38-6 lead. Adjamah's second short touchdown run gave the Dolphins a 48-6 lead on their first possession of the third quarter.

Jacksonville's senior class won its 30th game, which ranks third all-time in program history.

Scott Staal was 26-of-49 passing for 218 yards with one touchdown and one interception for Valparaiso (1-9, 1-7). Jacob Newman made two field goals and Staal's 11-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Dugan came with 1:19 remaining.
