Wilson's 4 TDs, Bryant defense holds off Robert Morris 49-46

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Price Wilson threw for 359 yards and four touchdowns as Bryant opened Northeast Conference play by holding off Robert Morris 49--46 on Saturday afternoon.

The Bryant defense slowed the Colonels with three fumble recoveries. Tomas Wright sealed the win for Bryant (3-1, 1-0) as he forced a fumble when he sacked Jimmy Walker and pounced on the ball at RMU's 13 in the closing minutes.

Bryant led throughout until Walker crashed in from the 2 early in the fourth and then sneaked across from the 1 for a 46-42 lead with 6:46 remaining. Bryant responded quickly when Isaac McCray skirted left end to score from the 26 to retake the lead with 3:09 left.

Walker was back to pass when Wright sacked him, causing the fumble that secured the win.

Thomas Costigan finished with 16 tackles, eight of those solo, to help keep Robert Morris winless in six tries at Bryant.

Alijah Jackson rushed for 109 yards and two scores to lead the Colonels (1-3, 0-1).
