Roberto Guerrero highlights non-televised Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury undercard

Unretiring former two-division world titleholder Robert Guerrero, former heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola, a strawweight world title fight and up-and-coming light heavyweight Anthony Yarde will highlight the non-televised undercard of the Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury heavyweight title fight on Dec. 1 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The main event and three other bouts will be on Showtime PPV, but Premier Boxing Champions also announced several other fights that will be on the card.

Guerrero (33-6-1, 18 KOs), 35, of Gilroy, California, who won world titles as a featherweight and junior lightweight, plus interim belts at lightweight and welterweight, will face an opponent to be named in a 10-round welterweight fight. He has not boxed since suffering the first knockout loss of his career, a third-round stoppage to former lightweight world titlist Omar Figueroa Jr., on July 15, 2017, after which Guerrero announced what turned out to be a brief retirement.

Former three-time heavyweight world title challenger Arreola (36-5-1, 31 KOs), 37, of Riverside, California, will face Houston's Maurenzo Smith (20-10-4, 13 KOs), 41, in a 10-rounder. Arreola is not getting a tough assignment after having not boxed since an eighth-round knockout loss challenging Wilder for his title in July 2016.

In a world title fight added to the card, Mark Barriga (9-0, 1 KO), 25, of the Philippines, and Carlos Licona (13-0, 2 KOs), 23, of Mexico, will battle for a vacant strawweight belt.

Yarde (17-0, 16 KOs), 27, of England, who shares promoter Frank Warren with Fury, will face an opponent to be determined in a 10-round fight in his second fight in the United States. He boxed at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on the Canelo Alvarez-Liam Smith card in 2016.

"I've experienced the fight scene in the USA before and it is something I cannot wait to sample it again," Yarde said. "To be a part of such a huge occasion really will be something else and it will only inspire me to create nights like this for myself in the future. These are the events you can only dream of being a part of. I am looking forward to showcasing my talents to the American public and this sort of exposure can only help me for when the time is right for me to be challenging for and winning world titles."

The card will also include an appearance by cruiserweight Marsellos Wilder (2-0, 2 KOs), 29, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is Deontay Wilder's younger brother and will face an opponent to be determined in a four-round bout.

Featherweight Isaac Lowe (15-0-3, 5 KOs), 24, of England, will face an opponent to be determined in an eight-rounder and junior flyweight prospect Jesse Rodriguez (7-0, 4 KOs), 18, of San Antonio, will fight Alex Aragon (10-2-1, 6 KOs), 18, of Mexico, in an eight-rounder.
