Oleksandr Usyk enjoyed a double celebration as he watched favourite team Manchester City beat arch rivals United just hours after knocking out Tony Bellew to remain the undisputed cruiserweight world champion.

The Ukrainian (16-0, 12 KOs) won with an eighth round knockout at the Manchester Arena Saturday night, before heading to the Manchester derby the next day to enjoy City's 3-1 win.

After the game he went to the dressing room and enjoyed time with a group of City players including Benjamin Mendy, Ederson and compatriot Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Usyk, 31, is the first man to hold all four cruiserweight belts -- the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO world titles.

His victory over Bellew -- which came after a crushing left hook floored the Liverpudlian -- made it six wins in a row in the home country of the opposite fighter.

After a break following a busy year, he is now likely to step up to heavyweight with the aim of taking on Anthony Joshua in the future.

Man City were dominant against their neighbours, with goals from David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan securing the win against Jose Mourinho's team.
