Rumor Central: Has Stan Van Gundy set his starting lineup?

Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy spoke to the media on Monday and wasn't ready to announce his starting lineup for the first game of the 2017-18 NBA regular season against the Charlotte Hornets.

"We know who we're going to start," Van Gundy told The Detroit News. "I guarantee you, an hour before the game on Wednesday, you'll know."

Followers of the Pistons project Van Gundy will go with Reggie Jackson and Avery Bradley in the backcourt and Stanley Johnson, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond in the frontcourt.

If that is the starting group, the top reserves should include Ish Smith, Langston Galloway, Reggie Bullock (after his five-game suspension ends), Jon Leuer and Anthony Tolliver.

"The rotation is going to change from night to night. I don’t know [about nine or 10]," Van Gundy said. "I look at everybody on our roster as viable going in."
