The Miami Heat want rookie center Bam Adebayo to get plenty of time on the floor this season, so he could be assigned to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the G League if he's not part of Erik Spoelstra's playing rotation. "In terms of individual player development, if guys aren’t playing, then we'll visit that they may need some game time in Sioux Falls," Spoelstra told The Palm Beach Post. "But right now, he's played well. He makes you watch him." Adebayo, the No. 14 selection in the 2017 NBA Draft, ended the preseason on a high note, as he averaged 14.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in the last two games. Adebayo will compete with Udonis Haslem, AJ Hammons, Jordan Mickey and Okaro White for backup minutes behind Hassan Whiteside, Kelly Olynyk and James Johnson. -- Nick Silva
