Rumor Central: Will OG Anunoby be cleared to play soon?

Toronto Raptors rookie forward OG Anunoby is practicing and even participated in an intrasquad game, but he is still a few weeks away from being cleared to play in a competitive game.

Anunoby, the No. 23 pick in the 2017 NBA draft, suffered a right knee injury in January while playing for Indiana during a game against Penn State and underwent season-ending surgery to repair the damage.

"We played him the other night in the intrasquad scrimmage just to get the rust off and let him run and play," Raptors head coach Dwane Casey told the Toronto Star. "He wasn't 100 percent then. He's probably a couple more exhibition games away; probably won't play until the last exhibition game, if then."

Once healthy, Anunoby will provide depth at small forward behind CJ Miles, Norman Powell and Bruno Caboclo.
