Rumor Central: Nate Wolters to join Jazz

According to Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune, the Utah Jazz have agreed to terms with guard Nate Wolters. The deal, per Jones, will be a two-way contract.

Wolters, the No. 38 selection in the 2013 NBA draft, played with the Milwaukee Bucks for all of the 2013-14 season and was released on January 9, 2015. Wolters was later signed by the New Orleans Pelicans to two 10-day deals, but was released following his 20 days with the team. After the Denver Nuggets waived Wolters prior to the start of the 2016-17 season, he signed with KK Crvena Zvezda in Serbia.

The Jazz have now filled their allotted two-way contracts for the 2017-18 season with Wolters and forward Eric Griffin, who was signed on July 20. Wolters and Griffin can spend at most 45 days with the Jazz. The rest of the time they will be playing in the G League with Utah's affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.
