On July 1, forward Joe Ingles will enter the market as a restricted free agent. When discussing his future, Ingles says he's hoping to re-sign with the Utah Jazz.

"Everyone knows that I want to come back," Ingles told The Salt Lake Tribune. "I couldn't think of a better place to come back. Hopefully it all works out and it's a nice, quick process."

Ingles, 29, played well in his third season with the Jazz as he averaged 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 82 appearances, which included starting 26 games. He also made 44.1 percent of his attempts from behind the 3-point line in the regular season. In Utah's 11 playoff games, all as a starter, Ingles averaged 6.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

"You want to win," Ingles said. "You want to be part of a winning team. Obviously the organization is committed to that. Obviously the next step is keeping that team around."

The Jazz and Ingles are a good fit, and both sides probably will agree to a new deal in July. Should Ingles sign an offer sheet with another NBA team, the Jazz probably will match it, if the deal is reasonable.
