Matthew Stafford suffered a career high in sacks Sunday, so it wasn't surprising that he didn't want to get hit again as he scrambled to his right in the fourth quarter.

But it did seem to surprise Kerryon Johnson that Stafford decided to pitch the ball before getting hit.

The ball bounced off Johnson's hands, and was scooped up by Danielle Hunter, who rumbled in 32 yards for a touchdown as the Vikings beat Detroit 24-9.

Hunter had a huge day with 3 1/2 sacks and 10 tackles, including three for losses. He also had four quarterback hits. He and Antoine Winfield are the only Vikings with multiple sacks and a defensive touchdown in a game since sacks became official in 1982, according to ESPN Stats & Info. Winfield did it in 2010.

The Vikings set a franchise record with 10 sacks.

It was the most yielded by the Lions in a game since 2007, and it was surprising considering Stafford entered the day as the least pressured quarterback in the league, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
