ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The snow squalls that roared through this past Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills were so powerful the Denver Broncos felt it this week.

As in, when the Broncos coaches turned on the video to start breaking down the X's and the O's from the game they discovered the Colts in white uniforms, in whiteout conditions. That video just wasn't much help as the Broncos prepare for Thursday night's game against the Colts in Indianapolis.

"We tried to watch it, but you can't, you can't see it," said Broncos coach Vance Joseph. "[The Colts] are wearing all white, it wasn't worth watching. I watched about 15 plays and ... we pulled it out of our breakdown."

The video may not have been that useful anyway. It's unlikely the Colts will try to run the ball 46 times against the Broncos Thursday, as they did in snow that was deep enough to obscure the markings on the field. Tuesday, Colts coach Chuck Pagano said he was concerned about his team physically recovering from the game because it was "like running through sand ... it's tough."

However, Broncos coach Vance Joseph believed the footing was so bad for all involved that it limited the effects of the collisions between the Colts' and Bills' players.

"Physically it's probably better, because it's snow, everybody was moving really slow, the contact slows down a lot," Joseph said. "It kind of helps those guys."
