Tournament Challenge: Sole winless bracket winless no more

Here are some takeaways from the late-afternoon action:

  • After 24 games, just 64 of our 17.3 million brackets remain perfect.

  • Sadly, the Nevada victory over Texas gave a W to the only bracket that entered that game with zero wins.

  • Not only did 53.8 percent of brackets go with No. 10 Texas over No. 7 Nevada, but 11.2 percent had Texas going to the Sweet 16 -- 8.7 percent have the victorious Wolf Pack advancing over Cincinnati next.

  • The public wasn't buying into No. 7 Arkansas today -- 58 percent of brackets went with No. 10 Butler to advance. That was the upset predicted most in the Round of 64.

  • Not only did 58 percent of brackets pick No. 10 Butler to beat No. 7 Arkansas, but a healthy 11.9 percent have them advancing past No. 2 Purdue to the Sweet 16. That's the biggest advancement percentage of any 7, 8, 9 or 10 seed.

No. 7 Nevada (46.2 percent) over No. 10 Texas
