Tournament Challenge: Loyola-Chicago upset picked by 35.6 percent

Here are some Tournament Challenge takeaways from the Thursday afternoon NCAA tournament games:

We almost made it through the first six games without an upset, before No. 11 Loyola-Chicago took down No. 6 Miami on a last-second shot.

To our gamers' credit, they were high on Loyola-Chicago in their brackets. Not only did 35.6 percent of brackets pick this upset, but more brackets picked No. 11 Loyola-Chicago (9.5 percent) to make the Sweet 16 than for all of the No. 7s, No. 8s, No. 9s and No. 10s except No. 8 Missouri and No. 10s Butler and Texas.

Loyola-Chicago will face No. 3 Tennessee on Saturday, and 64.3 percent of brackets picked Tennessee to make the Sweet 16.

Of 17.3 million Tournament Challenge brackets, 2.6 million (15 percent) remained perfect after the first six games of the tourney.
