1. Oklahoma (previous ranking: 1): Baker Mayfield's antics aside, the Sooners are still in complete control of everything. They shook off a slow start to roll to a 41-3 win over Kansas. They host West Virginia to close out the regular season, then the Big 12 title game is next.

2. TCU (2): No Kenny Hill, no Darius Anderson, no problem for the Horned Frogs. They got a 27-3 road win at Texas Tech to inch a step closer to a rematch with the Sooners in the conference title game. They’ll look to clinch the berth on Friday against Baylor.

3. Oklahoma State (3): The Cowboys got hit in the mouth early by Kansas State, rallied, but came up short in their comeback effort, falling 45-40 at home to the Wildcats. The offense, including quarterback Mason Rudolph, struggled early and it was Oklahoma State’s third home loss of the year.

4. Iowa State (5): The Cyclones snapped a two-game losing streak with a 23-13 win over Baylor. Matt Campbell’s crew has secured itself a winning record for the season and a winning conference record, the latter a first since 2000.

5. Texas (6): For the first since 2013, the Longhorns are going bowling. Their 28-14 win at West Virginia secured them a sixth win and a bowl trip and -- if they beat Texas Tech in the regular-season finale -- they’ll finish with a 6-3 conference record, their best league winning percentage in four years.

6. West Virginia (4): The Mountaineers lost a critical game and an important player -- falling at home to Texas by two touchdowns while also losing quarterback Will Grier to a broken finger. And their Big 12 title game hopes are done.

7. Kansas State (7): Skylar Thompson and Byron Pringle put on a show as the Wildcats went to Stillwater to upset Oklahoma State, despite being nearly a 20-point underdog. The Wildcats have now won three of their last four and some positivity after a rough October.

8. Texas Tech (8): After athletic director Kirby Hocutt voiced support for Kliff Kingsbury earlier in the week, the Red Raiders couldn’t validate those words with a win, falling by 24 to a TCU team minus several key players. The Red Raiders must beat Texas on Friday to avoid missing a bowl game for the third time in four seasons.

9. Baylor (9): The Bears were in striking distance late but couldn’t pull off an upset of Iowa State. Now 1-10, it’s been a rough go for Matt Rhule’s squad. Five of those losses have come by 10 or fewer points, including Saturday’s.

10. Kansas (10): The Jayhawks showed some fight early against Oklahoma but were eventually overpowered by the more talented Sooners. They’ll close out the season at Oklahoma State next week; a loss would mean a 1-11 finish and a 3-33 record in the last three years.
