Ravens open as favorite for first time ever at Lambeau Field

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens have never won at historic Lambeau Field, but they are favored to do so for the first time in franchise history.

The Ravens opened as 2.5-point favorites over the Green Bay Packers in Week 11, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

The biggest reason why struggling Baltimore (4-5) is pegged to beat the Packers (5-4) is quarterback Aaron Rodgers being sidelined. Green Bay has been the underdog in all three games that backup Brett Hundley has started, including at home against New Orleans and Detroit (both of which resulted in losses for the Packers).

The other factor is the status of Green Bay's top two running backs. Ty Montgomery sat out the second half of Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears because of a rib injury, and Aaron Jones hurt his knee in the first quarter.

What also helps Baltimore is its success rate with an extra week of rest. The Ravens are 7-2 coming off byes under coach John Harbaugh.

The Ravens are seeking a change of fortune in Lambeau, where they are 0-3 in their history. In 1998, Baltimore was limited to 233 yards of total offense in a 28-10 loss in which there was a quarterback controversy between Jim Harbaugh and Eric Zeier. In 2001, Brett Favre ripped apart the defending Super Bowl champions, throwing for 337 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-23 win over the Ravens. In 2009, Joe Flacco was intercepted three times, including twice in the fourth quarter, in a 27-14 loss on "Monday Night Football."

Baltimore is 4-4-1 against the spread this season.
