LeBron James takes notice again after buddy Romeo Travis drops 50

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James congratulated his friend Romeo Travis for scoring 50 points and leading the Magnolia Hotshots to the PBA Governors' Cup finals on Friday.

"Headed to the Finals on a 50 piece nugget!! Congrats my brother @rometrav. Keep going Lucky Lefty," James said in his Instagram post.

Travis, who was playing through a hamstring injury, went 20-of-26 from the field and knocked down 10-of-11 from the free throw line and added two assists and three steals as the Hotshots ended Ginebra's two-year title reign with a 112-108 win in Game 4.

James and Travis were high school teammates in Akron, Ohio, and formed St. Vincent-St. Mary's "Fab Five" together with Dru Joyce III, Sian Cotton, and Willie McGee, helping the school win the national championship in 2003.

It wasn't the first time James praised Travis. Last month after the Hotshots destroyed the Columbian Dyip, 113-95, Travis was named Best Player of the Game for putting up 32 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.

"Way to work my brother!!! #MidRangeRome #LuckyLefty" James tweeted after the game.
